Secret Point Beach is a secluded coastal haven nestled on the rugged southwestern shore of Nusa Ceningan, just minutes past the Yellow Bridge. Flanked by dramatic limestone cliffs and lush coastal scrub, the beach features a clean stretch of white sand fronting a vibrant turquoise bay. The beach is well known among the international surfing community for its consistent, hollow left-hand reef break that rolls past the rocky southern headland. Overlooking the cove sits the iconic Mahana Point cliff jump and bar, where spectators gather to sip cold drinks while watching daring divers plunge into the ocean.

Insider tips

  1. 01

Mahana Point Cliff Jump. Walk up the path to Mahana Point bar on the cliff above to watch thrill-seekers leap from the 5-meter and 10-meter diving platforms into the surging swell below.

  2. 02

Check Surf Conditions. Secret Point's surf break is best suited for intermediate to advanced surfers due to the shallow, sharp coral reef bottom; surf during mid-to-high tide.

  3. 03

Low Tide Rock Pools. At low tide, the ocean recedes to unveil interesting tidal pools filled with starfish, small crabs, and sea urchins along the rocky edges of the beach.
