Nusa Ceningan Blue Lagoon is a sensational natural coastal amphitheater gouged into the rugged limestone bluffs of Nusa Ceningan island in Klungkung Regency. The dramatic rocky cove is celebrated worldwide for its astonishing, electric-cyan and milky-turquoise seawater, caused by incoming ocean swells churning over white sand and limestone sediment under tropical sunlight. Towering limestone cliffs wrap around the inlet, where powerful Indian Ocean waves smash into jagged rock crevices, sending explosive geysers of white sea spray skyward. While once an infamous spot for daring cliff jumpers, all water jumping is now strictly prohibited due to dangerous hidden reefs and fierce undertows, leaving it as an unmissable sightseeing and sunset marvel.

Cliff Safety & Jumping Ban. Cliff jumping is strictly banned and perilous due to strong ocean surges and sharp shallow reefs; stay safely behind protective boundaries and enjoy the view from the clifftop.

Cliffside Sunset Libations. Grab an outdoor table at clifftop venues like Klyf Club or Blue Lagoon Bar to sip a chilled young coconut or craft cocktail while watching enormous ocean rollers crash into the gorge.

- Free to view; reached by crossing the Yellow Bridge from Nusa Lembongan onto Nusa Ceningan, followed by a scenic 10-minute scooter ride along paved island roads.
- Safety Warning
- Watch your step near open cliff edges where gravel can be loose and slippery; there are minimal safety railings, so keep a safe distance from sheer vertical drops.
