The most famous viewpoint on Nusa Penida, resembling the shape of a T-Rex dinosaur stretching into the turquoise ocean. The viewpoint is stunning, while the pristine white-sand beach below is accessible via a precarious, steep descent.

The Hike Down. The bamboo stairs are incredibly steep, narrow, and often broken. Do not attempt in flip-flops. It takes 45 mins down and 1 hour up.

Dangerous Waves. The undertow and shore break at the beach are notoriously dangerous. Swimming is highly discouraged by locals.

Timing. Arrive before 8:00 AM to avoid the massive influx of day-trippers from Bali, or wait until after 4:00 PM for golden hour.

- Requires a fast boat from Sanur to Nusa Penida, then a 45-min bumpy car/scooter ride.

- Basic warungs (food stalls) and toilets are available at the top of the cliff. Nothing at the bottom beach.
