The shoreline is lined with traditional colorful jukung outrigger canoes and rustic seaside cafes, providing an idyllic setting for ocean enthusiasts.
Insider tips
-

Underwater Mailbox Location. To find the submerged temple post and statues, swim straight out approximately 30 to 40 meters from the central beach near the dive buoys; water depth is around 4 to 6 meters.
-
02
Sunset from Jemeluk Viewpoint. In the late afternoon, head up the winding coastal hill to the Jemeluk Viewpoint cafe strip for a sunset panorama of the bay with Mount Agung standing tall in the background.
-
03
Morning Water Clarity. Snorkel between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM before afternoon trade winds generate light surface chop that can reduce underwater visibility.
