Hanging Gardens of Bali
$$$$ Found on Google Maps 9 Oct 2026
Hanging Gardens of Bali is an iconic luxury eco-resort perched high on the steep, mist-shrouded ridges of Buahan in Payangan north of Ubud. Established in 2005, the resort achieved global architectural fame for its gravity-defying, two-tiered cascading infinity pool engineered from curved poured granite that cantilevers dramatically over the jungle canopy. The property features 44 standalone luxury villas crowned with traditional Balinese thatched roofs, each appointed with handcrafted teak furnishings and private infinity plunge pools. A bespoke funicular railway transports guests smoothly down the 45-degree hillside connecting the clifftop pavilions to the river valley below.
