COMO Shambhala Estate is an internationally celebrated 9-hectare residential wellness sanctuary and holistic retreat secluded within the tropical rainforest of Banjar Begawan, Payangan, north of Ubud. Founded by COMO Hotels and Resorts creator Christina Ong, the estate provides a restorative environment where holistic wellness programs merge with luxury residential hospitality. Accommodations consist of 30 standalone luxury suites, private villas, and retreat pool residences grouped into enclaves themed around the natural elements (Tirta Ening, Umabona, Bayusuta, Wanakasa, and Tejasao). The sanctuary is nourished by "The Source" (Ojas), a sacred natural holy water spring that has flowed through the riverbank for centuries.
