Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park is a majestic 60-hectare cultural landmark perched on the limestone hills of Ungasan on Bali's Bukit Peninsula. The park is crowned by the monumental 121-meter-tall statue of Lord Vishnu riding his mythical mount Garuda, designed by master sculptor Nyoman Nuarta and standing taller than the Statue of Liberty. Visitors can explore dramatic carved limestone canyons, manicured lotus gardens, and expansive ceremonial plazas that host international cultural festivals. Daily traditional Balinese dance performances, including the legendary Kecak dance and Barong dances, are staged in the park's amphitheater.
