Crate Cafe is Canggu's legendary minimalist coffee institution and cultural hub, situated along Jalan Canggu Padang Linjong. Founded by Australian creative Maree Suteja, this massive open-sided polished concrete pavilion looks out directly onto peaceful green rice paddies. The cafe is revered for serving colossal, visually artistic portions of nourishing smoothie bowls, chia pots, breakfast sourdoughs, and specialty espresso at remarkably affordable prices. Adjoining the cafe is Crate Gallery, exhibiting edgy contemporary local art, and Crate Lounge, creating an energetic creative nexus.
