Penglipuran Village is a world-renowned traditional Balinese highland village situated in Bangli Regency, celebrated as one of the cleanest villages on earth. Built in accordance with the ancient Tri Hita Karana spatial harmony philosophy, the pedestrian-only settlement features a uniform brick boulevard lined with traditional family compounds and manicured gardens. Surrounding the village is an expansive 45-hectare protected bamboo forest, which the indigenous community sustainably preserves for sacred temple ceremonies and traditional architecture.
