Pantai Karang
Busy 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Found on Google Maps 1 Oct 2026
Pantai Karang is a serene stretch of golden sand located in Sanur, renowned for its calm, shallow lagoon protected by an offshore coral barrier reef. The beach is instantly recognized by its two picturesque traditional gazebos (bale bengong) perched on stone groynes jutting out into the ocean, offering iconic frames of Mount Agung at dawn. Positioned along Sanur's famous paved beachfront promenade, it serves as a central hub for morning walkers, cyclists, stand-up paddleboarders, and local fishermen. Thanks to its gentle swell and sheltered waters, it provides a safe, peaceful swimming environment particularly suited for families with young children.
