Murni's Warung is Ubud's first modern dining landmark, founded in 1974 by Ni Wayan Murni along the sacred banks of the Campuhan River. Cascading down four picturesque open-air terraces carved into the steep river valley, the restaurant served as the historic gathering place for international artists, writers, and early travelers. Guests can savor time-tested traditional Balinese smoked duck, classic nasi campur, and homemade desserts surrounded by antique stone sculptures and lush jungle foliage.
