Expat. Roasters is an internationally awarded specialty coffee roastery, brew bar, and architectural cafe brand founded in 2016 by Australian barista champion Shae Macnamara along Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. Driven by a mission to celebrate Indonesia's extraordinary coffee terroir, Expat. Roasters sources over 95% of its specialty green beans directly from local farming cooperatives across Bali Kintamani, Aceh Gayo, Java, and Flores. The minimalist, modern industrial coffee bar features state-of-the-art La Marzocco espresso machines, precision pour-over stations, and cold drip towers operated by master baristas. Alongside precision coffees, the venue serves a Melbourne-inspired cafe menu featuring gourmet brioche toasties, egg sandos, nutritious smoothie bowls, and freshly baked artisan pastries.
